Whether it\u2019s in the halls of a traditional church or a sacred circle drawn in the sand; two folks say: \u201cI do\u201d and celebrate that love with friends and family. Traditions are being shaped new and inclusive to incorporate modern values where the couple, vows, ceremony, attendants, customs, and decor all get a refresh. It\u2019s no surprise that flowers contribute to that day, as they have the world over. Great food and dance are the classics, but how about live entertainment or midnight snack surprises? Signature cocktails and themed buffets are a clever way to meet the various dietary preferences of the treasured guests. Here, the flowers play a role as well with a spectacular display of a decorated arbour or arch. Flowers contribute a vibe that transcends the couple and guests from the mundane.<\/p>\n<h3>Make it Unique<\/h3>\n<p>Wedding attire is as hot as the latest fashion runway, with multiple costume changes throughout the day. Goodbye matchy-matchy, and hello individual and authentic. However, we see there\u2019s a reason why white and green, and the favourite neutrals (pastels) are called classics. Bold punches of fully saturated colours are appearing in our inspirational feeds. Juicy tangerine, true peacock blue, popping bubble-gum pink, and electric magenta are all shouting \u2018fiesta!\u2019 and a &#8216;permission slip\u2019 to celebrate. We love to tuck these goodies into the decor including: grasses, ferns, fruit, mosses, and even mushrooms! For West Coast weddings, this is an easy concept to expand on: think enchanting woodland garden.<\/p>\n<h3>Sustainability<\/h3>\n<p>We\u2019re thrilled to see so much creativity in how to throw a big bash without stomping on the planet while doing so. With the environment as a priority, couples choose to factor in \u2018happily ever after\u2019&#8230;starting on their wedding day. Eco-conscious weddings are easier than ever to achieve by selecting vendors and venues that maintain those values. For florists, provenance (what is the true cost of imported blooms?) and climate change is a considered factor.
